Floral Tea Cosy
A charming woollen tea cosy featuring an optional hand painted background and a collection of cottage garden flowers embroidered in pure silk ribbon. The tea cosy is a very practical project worked on pure wool blanketing lined with a complimentary coloured pure cotton fabric. A draw string finishes the project.

            Fragrant `Tussy Mussy'
A delightful bouquet of flowers including roses, daisies, lavender and Queen Anne's lace. The bouquet is edged with a delicate gathering of needle run edging lace. The embroidery is finished with beads, pearls and lace leaves tucked amongst the embroidered flowers. The posy of flowers is also suitable as a cushion centre.

        Formal Flowers
A formal arrangement of flowers which are delicately arranged to show off a metallic urn and pedestal stitched to the patterned background fabric. Tiny seed beads have also been sewn amongst the foliage to add further interest and the design also incorporates the use of plain dyed and hand dyed silk ribbon to complete the flowers.

A very simple but effective project worked on Dupion silk. This design features two flowers, lavender and daises, worked as a simple bouquet drawn together with a silk bow couched to the silk fabric. This project is very suitable for a beginner as the stitches used to create the flowers featured are quite simple.

An embroidered cushion which features 9 individual panels of silk ribbon embroidered flowers stitched over optional hand painted backgrounds. The panels are joined using traditional patchwork piecing methods and a complimentary patchwork fabric. This fabric forms the margin around the embroideries as well as the deep self frill which completes the project.
